Door Locks: Supply, Fitting & Repair
A door lock only works as well as the door it is in. Half the calls we take are not a broken lock at all: they are a dropped hinge, a swollen jamb or a strike plate that stopped lining up two summers ago.
We work on cylindrical locks, deadbolts, mortise locks, multipoint mechanisms, rim locks and the assorted hardware on patio and utility doors. Fitting a new one is straightforward; diagnosing why the last one failed is the useful part.
Texas heat and humidity move doors. A door that latches perfectly in February and needs a shove in August usually needs the strike adjusted, not a new lock.

Common questions
My door only locks if I lift it. Is the lock broken?
Almost certainly not. That is a hinge or alignment problem and it is usually cheap to fix.
Can you fit a lock where there is no hole?
Yes. Boring a new door and jamb for a deadbolt is routine, and it is priced on top of the fitting labour.
Should every exterior door have a deadbolt?
Yes. A latch on its own is a convenience, not a lock.

Locked myself out at eleven at night with a toddler asleep upstairs. Quoted me on the phone, arrived in half an hour, had the door open in under five minutes without a scratch on it. Charged exactly what was quoted.

We turn over about forty units a year and they handle every rekey. Invoiced to the office, keying schedule emailed the same day, never had to chase them.

Dealer wanted a tow plus two days for a lost Kia key. These guys did it in my driveway in about an hour for a lot less. Two keys, both tested before he left.

Panic bar failed on a Friday during service. They came out after close, fixed it properly and talked me through what the inspector would be looking for.
