Quotes and pricing

Prices quoted by phone are based on what you describe. If conditions on site differ materially — a different lock type, additional doors, hidden damage — work stops and you are re-quoted before anything else is done. You are free to decline at that point and pay only the service call fee.

Proof of ownership

We require documentary proof that you are entitled to access the property or vehicle before any lock is opened or any key is made. We reserve the right to refuse service where that proof is not produced, with the service call fee still payable.

Non-destructive entry

We attempt non-destructive entry wherever it is practical. Some locks cannot be opened without damage. Where that is the case you will be told before work begins, together with the cost of replacement.

Warranty

Labour is warranted for 90 days. Parts supplied by us carry the manufacturer's warranty. Parts supplied by the customer are fitted at the customer's risk. Warranty does not cover damage caused by forced entry, weather or later work by others.

Arrival times

Arrival windows are estimates given in good faith. Traffic, weather and emergency prioritisation can change them. We will call you if the window moves.

Payment

Payment is due on completion. We accept major cards, contactless payment and cash. An itemised receipt is emailed before the technician leaves.

Licensing

Capital City Locksmith operates as a licensed locksmith company in the State of Texas and carries general liability insurance. Certificates are available on request.
