Common questions
Do you need the original key?
No. If every key is gone we work from the VIN and your proof of ownership: title, registration or insurance card with matching photo ID.
Can you do push-to-start proximity fobs?
Yes, for most makes. A handful of recent European models are locked to the dealer network, and we will tell you that on the phone rather than after we arrive.
How long does it take?
Cutting and programming a single key normally runs 30 to 60 minutes on site. All-keys-lost on a newer vehicle can take longer because the immobiliser has a security wait built in.
