Front door hardware is the one piece of security people also look at every day. Decorative sets are worth having; they just need to be graded properly underneath the finish.
We fit full entry handle sets, gripset and thumb-latch combinations, and matching interior hardware in finishes that will not go patchy after two Texas summers. The security-relevant parts, the deadbolt and the strike, are specified separately from the looks.
Retro-fitting a decorative set to an existing door often means new bore holes and a longer backset. That is fine, it just needs doing accurately rather than with a hole saw and hope.

Common questions
Will a decorative set be less secure?
Not if the deadbolt underneath is graded and the strike is fixed into framing. The trim is cosmetic; the bolt is the lock.
Can you fit a set I bought online?
Yes, labour only. We will tell you before fitting if it will not suit the door.
Which finishes hold up in Texas sun?
PVD finishes hold up far better than lacquered brass on a west-facing door. We will steer you.
