Electronic & Access Control Lockouts
Electronic locks fail differently from mechanical ones. A dead keypad, a flat lock battery, a controller that has lost its programming or a mag lock holding after a power event all leave you outside a door that has no keyhole to pick.
First we get you in, using the mechanical override where there is one, the fail-safe path where the fire code provides one, or by isolating power at the controller. Then we work out why it happened, because a door that locked you out once will do it again.
Common culprits: batteries nobody has changed in three years, a power supply on its way out, a controller that lost its programming in a brownout, and strikes fitted with the wrong voltage from the start.

Common questions
My smart deadbolt battery died. Can you help?
Yes. Most have a mechanical override cylinder, which we open, and then the batteries and the key are both sorted.
Do you service networked access control?
We handle standalone keypads, fob readers and electric strikes. Multi-site badge systems we will refer to a specialist rather than pretend.
Will a power cut lock me out again?
It depends on whether the door is fail-safe or fail-secure, which is partly a fire-code question. We will tell you which yours is and whether it is right for that door.

Locked myself out at eleven at night with a toddler asleep upstairs. Quoted me on the phone, arrived in half an hour, had the door open in under five minutes without a scratch on it. Charged exactly what was quoted.

We turn over about forty units a year and they handle every rekey. Invoiced to the office, keying schedule emailed the same day, never had to chase them.

Dealer wanted a tow plus two days for a lost Kia key. These guys did it in my driveway in about an hour for a lot less. Two keys, both tested before he left.

Panic bar failed on a Friday during service. They came out after close, fixed it properly and talked me through what the inspector would be looking for.
