Car Lockout Service in Austin, TX
Keys sitting on the driver's seat behind a locked door is the single most common call we take. It is also one of the quickest: most vehicles are open within a few minutes of the technician arriving.
The method is a wedge and a long-reach tool, or a decoded key on older vehicles. Nothing is levered against the paint and no window is broken. Modern vehicles with laminated side glass and pressure sensors need a lighter touch, which is why the technique matters more than the speed.
We come to you: a car park, a driveway, the roadside, a grocery store lot. Tell dispatch the make, model and roughly where you are and you will get a real arrival window.

Common questions
Will you damage the door or the seal?
No. The tools are designed for this and the technicians use them daily. If a vehicle genuinely cannot be opened without risk, we say so rather than trying anyway.
What if the key is locked in the trunk?
That is a separate approach but still routine, including on vehicles with no cabin trunk release.
Is a lockout cheaper than a new key?
Considerably, if the key is intact and inside the car. If the key is lost rather than locked in, you are looking at key replacement instead.

Locked myself out at eleven at night with a toddler asleep upstairs. Quoted me on the phone, arrived in half an hour, had the door open in under five minutes without a scratch on it. Charged exactly what was quoted.

We turn over about forty units a year and they handle every rekey. Invoiced to the office, keying schedule emailed the same day, never had to chase them.

Dealer wanted a tow plus two days for a lost Kia key. These guys did it in my driveway in about an hour for a lot less. Two keys, both tested before he left.

Panic bar failed on a Friday during service. They came out after close, fixed it properly and talked me through what the inspector would be looking for.
