Window Lock Repair After a Break-In

Window Lock Repair After a Break-In

Damaged window espagnolette and handle replaced the same day, with keyed handles fitted to the ground-floor openers.

Somebody had gone at a ground-floor window with a screwdriver overnight. They did not get in, but the handle was bent and the mechanism no longer pulled the frame tight.

We stripped and replaced the damaged gearing, straightened the frame contact points and fitted keyed handles to every ground-floor opener so the same trick would not work twice.

The customer had a police report number and photographs, so we itemised the work in a way the insurer could use.
